The process for creating 3D animations or 360 degree rotation views from the Mode360 is simple. First, place your product on the center of the turntable within the Mode360 and start the program. A series of pictures is then generated automatically for you. When you input these pictures into the Mode360 software, the 360 degree animation is then generated.

Each of the Mode360 models takes quality 3D animations and photography. Your preference of model should be based on the size and weight of your product. The photo composer specializes in small objects, with a maximum weight of 2.2 pounds and a maximum size of 5.9 inches. The jumbo model sustains 11 pounds of weight and can hold up to 22.6 inches in diameter. The twister model can hold a weight of up to 220 pounds and a size of up to 39 inches. These specifications can help you choose the right model.

Photo Composer

The Mode360 Photo Composer takes professional pictures, called packshots, on its turntable while providing a white background and lighting. It is built-in with all the tools for a sleek animation other than the camera, including a shadowless turntable. The high quality lighting is supplied by an LED system that has an optimal color temperature of light at 6500K. The premise of the Photo Composer involves the combination of the camera with the revolving, shadowless platform and the high quality lighting system via the MODEPix software on your computer. It features a camera arm that can hoist the camera at any desired viewing angle. The Photo Composer specializes in the photography of jewelry and other small luxury goods.

Jumbo

The Mode360 Jumbo is a smaller photography studio that allows the production of packshots and 360 degree animations. The Jumbo features the biggest built-in motorized and illuminated turntable for 360 degree animations. This turntable is useful for the photography of a large range of midsize products, including most everyday household items. The Jumbo includes a built-in professional white background with high quality lighting that prevents shadows from appearing. The Jumbo also features an arched camera arm that allows for adjustment to an optimal view of your product. The easy-to-use software that comes with your purchase makes the Mode360 Jumbo especially user friendly. The intuitive interface comes with a variety of simple tools that drastically increase the quality of your packshots. Twister

Text: The Mode360 Twister is a large-scale turntable that creates 360 degree images and 3D animations on a large variety of products. Because the Twister can handle up to 100 kg (220 lbs) and a size of up to 100 cm (39") in diameter, it can be used for products in nearly any field, specifically in advertising, photographic, ecommerce industries, and manufacturing. The synchronization between the camera and computer in the Twister allows for easy photography of all angles of your product in a full rotation around its axis, or as a part of a full turn. Unlike the Jumbo and the Photo Composer, the Twister does not include its own lighting, so you would have to provide lighting and a white backdrop if needed.

Software

Upon receiving your product and its corresponding identification labels, you can download the ModePiX Software and subsequently the 3D Rotate Tool to allow you to take packshots of all the views of your product and then turn those packshots into a 360 degree rotation or 3D animation.
